What these terms cover
Aktivismo combines shared engagement with playful progress. These terms cover our website, app and the account, campaign and community features actually provided. Aktivismo is operated by Johann Kay, 5 Rue Auger Gaillard, 11000 Carcassonne, France. Full provider and contact details are in the legal notice. You can read public legal texts without an account; opening a page does not mean you accept it. To create a regular account, you accept the displayed versions of these terms and the code of conduct and acknowledge the privacy notice.
Your account and your choices
Provide the required registration details accurately and protect your access. Do not share sign-in codes, and report suspected misuse through the contact channel. Your public profile name need not be your legal name. Optional profile information and purpose-specific consent are not prerequisites for general account functions and do not earn points. We process political or other sensitive data only on an applicable legal basis; a general legal checkbox cannot replace explicit consent for a particular purpose. For use by minors: You may register an account only from age 16, including where parental permission would otherwise be given. At registration, you provide your date of birth for a server-side age check. This minimum age applies exclusively to account registration: account functions do not ask your age again. Public content, public participation and guest functions, and public forms including the contact form and form bot do not require an age check under this registration rule. Necessary consents and safeguards for each processing activity still apply; we do not introduce a parental-consent procedure.
Campaigns and responsibility
You decide which campaigns to create, support or play. Points and progress reflect activities within Aktivismo; they do not guarantee political impact and are not money or a cash balance. Follow applicable law in real-world activities and respect other people’s rights. Aktivismo does not provide legal advice or authorise unlawful actions. Joining a campaign does not grant its creator power to act for you or automatically make other participants your representatives. Do not disclose someone else’s private or sensitive data. Information about an addressed person needs a relevant factual connection, suitable public evidence, lawful contact channels and its own data-protection basis.
Your content and how it is used
You keep the rights to your own content. Provide only content you may lawfully use. By providing it, you allow Aktivismo, to the extent needed for the features you choose, to store it, process it technically, translate it into supported languages and display it according to your publication settings. This purpose-limited, non-exclusive permission is not a blanket transfer of your rights. Published campaigns are publicly visible; that does not make private drafts public. Ordinary use ends when content is withdrawn or deleted, subject to genuinely necessary statutory records. Other people’s copyright and personality rights remain protected.
AI can help and can be wrong
AI helps prepare content, translations, moderation and replies. Results can be incomplete, wrong or unsuitable. Check facts, sources, contact information and legal requirements before public or real-world use. An AI statement is not verified evidence. Do not enter unnecessary secrets or someone else’s sensitive data. Aktivismo checks content against its published rules; a technical approval does not certify lawfulness. You can report problematic output from private previews or bot replies too.
Rules, measures and complaints
Our code of conduct explains allowed and prohibited content and the separate limits of our recommendations. Depending on an actual violation, we may reject content, prevent publication, block it or restrict account functions in confirmed cases of account misuse. Measures must be proportionate and relate to the issue concerned. Automated checks may contribute to an initial decision. You receive the required clear explanation and can request review through the reporting and complaints channel. We do not disclose a reporting person’s identity or internal security data. Limits on organic or paid recommendations do not automatically prohibit publication. Any legally required human review of complaints is ensured as follows: contact@aktivismo.org is available for reports and complaints without an account. Describe the affected content or measure and why you challenge it. Required reviews are factual and conducted under human responsibility; statutory time limits and remedies remain available.
Costs and additional offers
The free core features include starting your own campaign with one active branch, joining and playing. A paid offer starts only when you expressly order it through an available purchase process. That process must clearly show the service, total price including applicable taxes, term, renewal, cancellation and statutory rights. These terms do not place an order. Required sales and withdrawal information for future paid offers will be provided separately before purchase. Any voluntary refund policy leaves statutory rights intact.
Leaving, deleting and accessing data
You can delete your account through the account-deletion process. Ordinary account data and campaigns you are responsible for are removed according to the privacy notice. Deleted campaigns are not automatically transferred to someone else or kept as historical playable versions. Before deletion, you can export your own data when that feature is enabled; the contact channel remains available for further data-protection requests. Necessary statutory records and documented unresolved legal cases may be retained for their specific purpose. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed separately by a sales channel; its cancellation route must be clear at purchase.
Availability, liability and your statutory rights
We operate Aktivismo with reasonable care. Maintenance, technical faults or necessary protective measures may temporarily limit features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular campaign outcome or error-free AI results. Your mandatory statutory rights remain intact; we do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded. There is no blanket liability limit for intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health. Where French law applies, mandatory protections in your country of habitual residence and statutory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected. Start by using the contact channel for disputes. Required consumer-mediation details will be provided before a relevant paid offer: An unavailable paid offer does not create an order. Before such an offer, the competent consumer mediation body and all other required purchase information must be provided in the relevant purchase process.
Handling changes transparently
We change these terms only for explained reasons, such as changes to features, security requirements or law. Material changes will be announced clearly. Any necessary renewed acceptance is requested through the account process; silence or continuing to read is not acceptance. Version records identify the text linked to a confirmation. Your data-protection choices remain separate.
