When we think about the future of Aktivismo, we do so without grand promises and with quiet determination. We see what already exists and we sense what still has room to grow. The Campaign Creator is a beginning, but it is not the destination. It is the first building block of an idea that reaches beyond a single tool. We often find ourselves reflecting on what engagement might look like in the coming years and what role Aktivismo should play within it.
From a tool to a place
At the moment Aktivismo is primarily a tool that helps structure campaign ideas and put them into words. In the future we hope it will become a place. A place where people not only create content but support one another, learn from each other and feel taken seriously. I often think about how valuable it would have been, earlier on, to have had a space where good ideas did not remain isolated in one’s own mind but could be developed together. Step by step we want to create a framework that allows exchange without overwhelming anyone and offers orientation without restricting freedom.
Accompanying engagement over time
Many initiatives begin with enthusiasm and then lose momentum when the first obstacles appear. We would like to develop Aktivismo in a way that supports not only the start but also the journey. This includes tools that provide structure without becoming rigid and ways of making progress visible without creating pressure. It matters to me that engagement is not understood as a sprint but as a process that requires time, patience and mutual encouragement. If Aktivismo can help strengthen that continuity, then it is fulfilling its purpose.
Community at the centre
We imagine a platform where new connections can form. Engagement feels different when you know you are not alone. Madeleina often reminds us that community must not only be organised but also felt. A friendly atmosphere, clear communication and respect are essential for that. As we continue to develop Aktivismo, we want to preserve this quality. Technology should bring people closer rather than create distance. Community should be able to grow without becoming exclusive or leaving anyone behind.
Open to organisations and individuals
Aktivismo is not meant to remain a closed project. We think of individuals launching their first campaign as well as initiatives and organisations looking for simple structures. I picture a platform that is flexible enough to respond to different needs and at the same time clear enough not to lose its focus. In the future we want to develop features that make collaboration easier, clarify processes and make responsibilities transparent. Throughout all of this it remains essential to us that the platform stays accessible and free of charge so that engagement does not depend on financial means.
Responsibility at every stage
With every new idea our responsibility grows. We want to expand Aktivismo carefully and remain faithful to our core principles. Transparency, data protection and a clear stance against harmful content will remain non negotiable. We will also continue to approach artificial intelligence with caution and reflection. Technology can make many things easier, but it must never replace human judgement. I do not experience this responsibility as a burden but as guidance that helps us act thoughtfully.
Taking the next steps together
When I think about the future of Aktivismo, I do not see a fixed endpoint. I see a path that unfolds with every conversation, every piece of feedback and every new idea. We want to build a platform that encourages without being loud, that offers orientation without being rigid and that invites people into action without pushing them. Perhaps Aktivismo will never be finished, and perhaps that is precisely its strength. As long as it continues to grow alongside the people who use it, it will remain alive.
